With over 16 years of experience, Aleksandra Patykowska-Underwood is a licensed aesthetician specializing in advanced corrective skincare and results-driven treatments. She is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, radiant skin through personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique concerns and goals. From acne and rosacea to age management and overall skin rejuvenation, Aleksandra combines clinical expertise with a thoughtful, individualized approach to deliver meaningful, long-lasting results. Shannon Irlander is the owner and certified spray tan artist behind Moco Glow. Growing up on the beaches of Florida gave her a lifelong love for that golden, sun-kissed glow—but after seeing the effects of skin cancer within her own family, she became passionate about offering a safer alternative to UV tanning. After careers in special needs education and real estate, Shannon followed her passion and opened Moco Glow in 2024, helping clients achieve a radiant, healthy-looking tan without the risks of UV exposure. What began in her home studio in the Kentlands has now expanded to an exciting partnership with Aluna Aesthetics. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree from Bar-Ilan University in Israel. Her journey has taken her from Miami, Chicago, and Tel Aviv to the Washington metro area where she settled in 2013. Her philosophy is simple: confidence starts with how you feel in your skin, and beauty should never come at the expense of your health. Beyond the studio, Shannon loves spending time with her husband of 10 years and their two energetic boys. Life at home is always lively, especially with the addition of their two beloved dogs—Winnie the pug and Moose the bullmastiff. At Moco Glow, Shannon blends expertise, artistry, and care to create a premium tanning experience—helping every client feel confident, glowing, and safe in their own skin.
